New York Jets Move Into NFL Playoff Contention

Consistency has been a problem for the New York Jets so far in 2013. Quarterback Geno Smith is a poster child for these highs and lows. When Smith throws interceptions, he proves to be reckless to their fortunes.
On Sunday, he had a clean contest despite only completing eight passes against the visiting New Orleans Saints. Chris Ivory rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown Carolina Panthers Jersey. This ground threat really helped. An injury to Jeremy Kerley further depleted their receiving corps that was already suffering from missing players.
The expected returns of Santonio Holmes, Jeff Cumberland, and Kellen Winslow make the Jets dangerous. Reserves David Nelson and Josh Cribbs have talent, while Greg Salas made two nice plays.
Although the accuracy was not there for Smith, he found success in every other aspect. Expectations were low for the Jets entering the season, but they now stand at 5-4, which puts Gang Green in the middle of 2013’s Carolina Panthers Jersey playoff race.
After their bye week, the Jets take on the Buffalo Bills in what should be a winning matchup. Looking at their upcoming slate offers games against the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, as well as two games against the Carolina Panthers Jersey, I am not saying the Jets will make the playoffs, but there is an opportunity for more victories down the road.
